Last weeks of 2008

I had two major surgery’s within 3 1/2 month of each other the last of
2008. I am finally starting to get better, but doctors said it would
take about a year. I am improving daily and starting to feel like doing
things again. I am finally eating, which I am told I didn’t for the
longest time. I lost about a month of knowing what was going on around
me. It was almost Christmas and I thought we were still in November!
That scared me. I have a blood and kidney issue that they are watching
closely. Lost weight and some of my hair. Walking helps, but been too
cold most of the time.

Regaining strength and health

It has been quite some time since I have written anything here. I have
spent a lot of time in the hospital and recovering. I had two major
surgeries in 2008 within three and a half month of each other. The
first to save my life, the second to reverse what had to be done the
first time. The second one may have been too soon, but it is too late
now to be concerned with that. To this day they do not what caused my
situation. They found a blood and kidney issue that didn’t want to stay
in check. My blood pressure sky rocketed into the 200 plus over 100
range. I am being monitored closely with both situations. My body has
just begun to come out of the fog it has been in for weeks. I lost
about a month and began noticing my surroundings just before Christmas.
It has been a slow recovery. My husband says no more hospital stays for
me, as I have to come home to get well. My dear neighbor and husband
have nursed me back to health both times. God blessed me with my life
and I can’t thank him enough for giving me more time with my family and
loved ones. This is the first time I have been able to think coherently
to want to write anything in months. I want to thank everyone that has
been praying for me and please continue. I still have a long ways to go
to regaining my health and strength. It amazes me what little things
tire me and I am unable to do. I have lost lots of weight. Thank you to
all my loved ones, friends and online friends that have supported me
through this ordeal. God bless each and everyone of you.

Thank God for my Dear Husband!

I don’t talk much about what goes on in my life, but Saturday something happened to show me that God is always watching over me each moment of my life. We were having lunch and one of our feral cats was having a hard time eating, choking on its food each time it ate. While we were eating I took a mouthful to eat and before I had a chance to start chewing(I take forever to eat with my chewing) a chunk of food lodged in my throat somehow. I couldn’t breath and my husband asked me if I was alright(which I wasn’t) when he realized I was having a problem he got up and did the Hemilic(spelling) and out popped a chunk of cucumber. I keep thanking God that he was here with me as I eat salad almost daily. I believe it was to show my husband how much I really love and trust him and show Gods miracles. He is able to think quickly under pressure and respond. I told hubby he was stuck with me for awhile longer Thank God for little miracles and his wonderous blessings.
